Post Office Teller/Clerk
Description:
You’ll perform a variety of tasks in our Post Office, such as receiving letters and parcels, selling postage and revenue stamps, and handling US mail as directed.
You will also keep the till in order, as well as record and balance daily transactions. Weigh letters and parcels, compute mailing costs based on type, weight, and destination, and affix correct postage. Register, certify, and insure letters and parcels. Obtain signatures from recipients of registered or special delivery mail. Sell and collect payment for products sold and services rendered.
This position is as an employee of Bob’s Variety Store at a Contract Post Office, not a federal Post Office.
